Andrew Miller MP visited the new centre on Burton Road recently and met NC&YC Board members Paul Davies, Alan Brown, Chris Fergus & Joan Joynson together with the centre manager Helen Barrie and volunteer Karen Powell.

Andrew Miller said, ‘I was very impressed by the whole project, the building is a magnificent example of use of space and gives a good impression of space and light.  Community groups who are looking for a flexible venue should certainly look at the opportunities on offer here.

I was particularly impressed by the age range and type of group that are already using the Centre and I am very pleased that young people  themselves were instrumental in the planning stages and are now making good use of the building.’
